Abstract

In my diploma thesis, I deal with Business Strategy. I have included theoretical foundations and important concepts needed for defining the business strategy and keeping company on the market and they explain the methods that are used in the analytical section. In the analytical section, I tried to analyze the internal and external business environment from various viewpoints. The result in the analytical section is the SWOT analysis that helps with the enterprise and marketing planning. In the conclusion, strategies for areas such as manufacturing, human resources, marketing, finance and quality control were suggested. In production, the company should concentrate on a continuous improvement of products. The human resoursces strategy is an important qualification, motivation and staff satisfaction. The marketing strategy should focus on the visibility of the company's products and attract new customers. In the financial areas, investments are a signifiant component unit, which would be used mainly in rebuilding obsolete machines, in repairs factory buildings and provision necessary safety. In the field of quality control, it should be common to maintain the certificates, which the company currently owns and effort to a continuous improvement of Internal system management.
