Kvalita zkušebního dílce vyrobeného metodou WAAM (Wire and Arc Additive Manufacture)

Abstract

The master thesis deals with additive technology, especially the WAAM (Wire and Arc Additive Manufacture) method, production of test pieces and subsequent quality control. Three samples are produced, one of which is experimental. The theoretical part discusses additive manufacturing technologies for metal production and WAAM technology itself, including the additive materials used in this method. The main part of the master thesis deals with the description of the laboratories, the selection of suitable base and additive materials and appropriate welding parameters. Subsequently, the fabricated samples are compared using as-delivered condition, macrostructure, microstructure, and measured microhardness.
