Abstract

Bachelor thesis dealing with design dimensions, material and shapes of water heater. Water heater will be located in boiler burning biofuel in form of chipped spruce wood. The boiler will heat the family house and producing domestic hot water. The theoretical part deals with the description of the type of biofuels and the construction of boilers for heating family houses. Next is describe the house, which will be heated. The boiler heat exchanger is designed to achieve a rated output of 14 kW. Calculations are performed using stoichiometric equations and heat transfer equations.
