Abstract

This thesis deals with a simulation of oil flow in a spool valve pressure regulation. The introduction describes the pressure regulation valve and its use in a pump control. Then, there is an explanation of issue associated with the oil flow through the valve. The work also includes a theory of turbulent flow and a research of two-equation turbulent mathematical models. The next chapter describes a creation of geometry and mesh in Ansys Workbench program, selection of an appropriate mathematical model and calculations of oil flow through the spool valve pressure regulation. The conclusion compares experimentally measured and mathematically modeled Δp - Q characteristic.
