Abstract

In the first chapter, attention is targeted to define the concept of information, or knowledge-based society, information process,principles of knowledge-based society, used technology, define the benefits and learning society. The second chapter is devoted to the characteristics of human resources in a knowledge society, with its typical features and content of the basic personal activities, methods of personnel selection, structured CVs in the Czech Republic and the EuropeanUnion. Another part of the chapter is devoted to the needs of organizations for graduates, quality of the alumni and teaching at the Faculty of Economics VŠB-TUO and mutual cooperation. The third chapter deals with the expected development of human resources in a knowledge society, current knowledge in areas such as executive pay, new staff orientation and profile of a modern and effective recruiters
