Abstract

The thesis deals with the application of the online monitoring system on the core equipment - vacuum pumps in the paper industry. The aim is to predict possible causes of damage that always lead to unacceptable economic losses in production. The introductory part deals with the theoretical overview of vacuum pumps, their possible damage and the methodologies that can lead to their detection. In the practical part, I outline an online vibration measurement monitoring system that should meet predefined requirements and use it in practice together with specific outputs from online vibration measurement.
