Abstract

In my diploma thesis, I deal with a design of a ground to water heat pump for heating and domestic hot water preparation for a family house. The first part deals with a brief historical development of refrigerants and heat pumps and their respective principles. In addition, it outlines the description of the heat source itself and its methods of storage. In the following part, I deal with total heat losses of the house and the need for heat for heating and preparation of hot water. In the calculations part, I deal with the calculation of the heat pump itself and the design of its individual main components. The last part of the thesis deals with a connection of the heat pump to the heating system and an estimation of the benefits of installing the heat pump from an economic and environmental point of view.
