Abstract

This bachelor thesis is looking at the structural design of mounting table. The introduction gives a brief overview of assembly tables, such as whole – metallic; wooden and wooden for wood workshops ; special single purpose or multipurpose desks; folding tables , such as for hobby use. The next charter presents a table of advantages and disadvantages of these desks‘structural designs. I have selected one of the desks‘ structural design based on benefits and weaknesses shown in the table. For this specific desk I have chosen possible variation of the desk’s parts, from which I have decided on one final alternate desk design that I believe is the best combination. After finalizing the selection of necessary things, I began to focus on the solidity proposal of the main part of the desk and deciding on its parts base on my own experience. The documentation includes assembly drawing and one construction drawing of a chosen part of the desk.
