Analyzing and Optimization of Pick-Pack System and Warehouse Layout

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the existing warehouse layout, pick-pack process, and their optimization in the selected company. The Introduction deals with the importance of food for well-being, issues faced in the selected company, and the general goals of the diploma thesis. The theoretical part contains the general characteristics of the basic concepts and problems in the selected company. Based on the analysis of the process and layout, some proposals were created to optimize the process and layout. The created proposal will be utilized on a long-term basis for constant improvement in the process.
