Abstract

The presented master thesis is describes the design of suitable cutting tools and machining parameters for nickel alloys. The theoretical part describes the problem turning nickel alloys and analyzed the appropriate cutting tools. The practical part deals with the rationalization of turning specific parts of the nickel alloy EI 435, indexable carbide plate. In the first phase analyzes the current production of the components used in cutting tools and parameters. In the second stage, based on cutting tools used in the current production of new cutting tools designed with new cutting conditions and tested directly in the production of a particular workpiece. Finally, it includes an economic evaluation, which were compared to existing and newly designed cutting tools and cutting conditions in operation 050, 0100 and the 0450. Each operation was economically evaluated in terms of production times and manufacturing costs.
