Abstract
The master's thesis focuses on the experimental and numerical comparison of servovalve characteristics. The introductory part consists of a literature review dedicated to the subject of servovalves, their description, design, characteristics, and mathematical formulation. The theoretical section concludes with a detailed description of the investigated 4WSE2ED servovalve, which was subsequently subjected to experimental measurements. In the practical part, an experimental hydraulic circuit was designed and implemented to identify the static, dynamic, and leakage characteristics of the servovalve. The measuring circuit was equipped with appropriate sensors for monitoring individual physical quantities. Data acquisition and digitization were performed using the Hydrotechnik MS5070 measuring device. The obtained data were subsequently analyzed and evaluated using HYDROcom6 and MS Excel software, through which the individual servovalve characteristics were defined. Finally, a simplified 1D mathematical model of the hydraulic circuit and the servovalve was developed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. Mathematical simulations of the characteristics were conducted and subsequently compared with the experimental results.
