Abstract

The thesis is focused on simulation of induction motor fault and on evaluation of rotor winding fault on behavior of squirrel cage motor. This thesis works on the knowledge, that stator current is influenced by rotor winding fault. In the first part of the thesis is overview of methods for evaluation of rotor windings. Thereafter is created mathematical model of squirrel cage motor with possibility of simulation rotor winding fault. Verification of the model has been achieved by comparison between measured data and results of simulation. In the last part of the thesis is described method of angular vibration measurement. This method is applied to detect rotor winding fault. In the end is compared behavior of the motor with and without fault. Afterwards is discussed, where is this method applicable to evaluation rotor winding fault of squirrel cage motor. Contribution of the thesis is especially in the evaluation that rotor winding fault is possible to detect by method of angular vibration measurement.
