Abstract

The subject of this thesis is a proposal of possible modifications to the steam boiler for combustion G230 low quality burning fuel. The properties of this coal and various types of possible mill circuits are discussed in the theoretical part of this thesis document. Additionally, the original boiler type G230 with associated accessories is described as initially manufactured - prior proposed modifications. The possible optional modifications and selected variants of the new mill circuit with fan mill are covered in the second part of this thesis document. The third part of this document consists of calculations of boiler efficiency, mass flow of fuel and custom design and calculation of parameters of the fan mill. The last section is an evaluation of the proposed solution.
