Abstract

This thesis describes the design and implementation of custom solution for processing and displaying data from public web sources. The theoretical part presents basic information about open-source hardware. There are described the possibilities and the importance of open-source hardware in the field of information technology. Next chapter is devoted to web services and APIs. Emphasis is placed on data from social networks and data freely available from public sources. The practical part describes the design and process of implementation of tasks for processing and displaying public data. According to selected components was built the final model of the display based on Arduino Yun programming board.
