Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the control and design of the motor seating on the frame on Student Formula. The first option is to hang the engine without the use of elastic and damping elements - rubber buffer. The second option allows their use. Comparative criteria are the value of the forces that are transmitted through the seating of the frame during engine vibration. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is an experimental measurement of the parameters and analytical calculation of engine mounting modal analysis. The second part is a modal analysis of the engine mounting and modal analysis of the frame with motor, using FEM. The third part is the harmonic analysis using FEM and assessment of the magnitude of the forces transmitted to the frame in two ways suspension. FEM calculations are performed in the program Patran and MSC Nastran.
