Abstract

The master thesis deals with design of a Power Take Off (PTO) for a truck. There are PTO functions described and types of a PTO compared in the introduction part. Design of the PTO for Tatra Phoenix -Agro new truck model is next part of this thesis. Complete strength calculation for three gear variants is first part of design. Force decomposition that acting on a rotating shaft is used to for selected final gear variant. Static and dynamic shaft analysis, bearings damage analysis and splines analysis are implemented. The thesis attachments described technical drawings for all assemblies and parts of the PTO.
