Abstract
Master thesis deals with engineering design and strength control of a windscreen wiper mechanism of an urban transport vehicle. The introduction present different types of wiping mechanisms. Next there is described current wiper mechanism. The main part deals with engineering design of the wiper mechanism and gear motor selection with specified input parametres. Finally it is done a strength control of critical components. Partial drawing documentation is contained in the enclosure of the master thesis.
