Diploma work is concerned with proposal and assembly of lining of cable drums, which are used for personnel transport as well as transport of material in mining industry. Introduction of diploma work contains descriptions of logging drums and machines used in mining industry. Then there are mentioned some possibilities of using different materials for cable drums lining. Assembly and questions of machining of this lining are described in the following part. In the middle part, diploma work is concerned with treatment of cable drum lining with help of milling to the unified diameter and with help of followed slots milling for steel ropes. Conclusion of diploma work specifies factors influencing technical and economical valuation.
