Abstract
The subject of the bachelor thesis is analysis and comparison of the motivation and remuneration system of employees in public and private homes for the elderly, which main goal is to analyze and compare the current system of remuneration and motivation of employees in two selected organizations and subsequently, draw recommendations and proposals for possible improvements from survey results. The first part of the thesis consists of theoretical background regarding the motivation and remuneration of employees. The second part of the work is practically focused. Firstly, selected organizations are characterized, namely Domov Sluníčko and SeneCura SeniorCentrum Havířov. Secondly, an analysis and comparison of their current system of remuneration and motivation of employees are carried out through a survey. Finally, recommendations and suggestions for improving employee satisfaction and motivation, which were derived from the survey, are recommended in the practical part.
