Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of modular systems using finite element method. First I introduce various types of modular systems and their use in practice. I will focus on the stepladder which i will design with two different steps. One step with a larger working area which can hold up to 120 kg and the other one with a smaller working area up to 150 kg. I will analyze the system by finite element method, especially with focus on stress and deformation. The next step is to analyze the individual steps. Then, based on the results of the whole system analysis, I will focus on the most stressed part of this system and create submodel of this part.
