Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a model of the aircraft maintenance process in a maintenance organization in the Witness simulation program. The first part deals with the individual elements of the maintenance process and their characteristics. This section includes a brief description of maintenance personnel and each type of maintenance. The next chapter deals with the Witness simulation program itself and its basic functions and rules. This is followed by statistical processing of data relating to the working time of aircraft mechanics. The data were obtained during practical visits to a maintenance organization based at Mošnov Airport. The next part of the work describes the creation of a simulation model. The conclusion deals with various simulation experiments. Individual data obtained by simulation were processed in the form of tables and graphs.
