Abstract

This thesis describes the design of drive for conveyor belt for a wheel excavator. I would divide the task into four points. The first section deals with a retrieval of conveyor belts, their conception, design elements and drives. In the second point I calculate resistances of conveyor belt because of finding power and the maximum torque of the engine. In the third section I deal with several variants of drive and I compare their advantages and disadvantages. At the end of the third point I choose the optimal variant of the drive. In the fourth point I deal with the construction design of the chosen variant, concretely of the power drive design and tension check. Furthermore I deal with construction design and tension check of the connection of power drive and power drum. Finally I design bearings for the power drum which I check computationally on the load and life.
