This thesis deals with testing of the cutting edge life of four types of the Replaceable cutting inserts for graphite machining. The course of the test will be in accordance with ISO 3685. The aim of the work is to find out which of the Replaceable cutting inserts have better properties and composition of the protective coating layer and hence longer durability.
