Abstract

The bachelor thesis describes the design of a barrel-hoisting trolley. The introduction includes basic types of handling equipment for the transportation of a barrel, which are currently available on the market. This is followed by the classification of possible types of drives for material-handling equipment. The barrel-hoisting trolley is designed according to the requirements and classification. The movement mechanism of the trolley is controlled manually. The next part of the thesis verifies the strength of major parts and connections of the designed device and includes also the calculation of bearing lifespan. Appropriate drawings as the drawing of the trolley structure and the manufacture drawing of the holder etc. are enclosed.
