Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the automation of the brazing process, which was analyzed during an internship at Honeywell Aerospace Olomouc s.r.o. The work begins with a description of the current production process, which includes the production of brazing components with manual application of brazing paste. The next analytical chapter is the search for available solutions for mass dosing automation. Before creating concepts, requirements and limiting conditions for process automation are defined in the form of a requirement list. The following is a proposal for a rough concept of an automated brazing paste application workplace. The selection of the most suitable variant is made based on established criteria and the preference of the contracting authority. The principle of automated brazing paste application is explained on the selected concept. The last chapter assesses the feasibility of the solution in the pre-project phase. Based on this, the requirements for the system integrator are specified/established. The work is a case study and is intended to help the client in deciding on the implementation of a project with a system integrator.
