Abstract

This thesis deals with a low potential use of a waste of heat for preheating of the water. The introduction outlines the current energy situation and the representation of different energy sources in an energy production. According to the literature in the work there are listed the basic low potential heat sources and an indication of its use. The next part describes the production of cold, mine air conditioning and the waste of heat, which arises in the production of cold. In the second part there is a design and a calculation of the heat exchanger, which will be used to preheat the water for showers and as a condenser of ammonia pair. The conclusion is about economic effects and the calculation of ROI.
