Abstract

Ostrava: VŠB –Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Robotics, 2018, 65 p. Thesis head: Ing. Ladislav Kárník, CSc. In the bachelor thesis, which consists of theoretical and practical part, I deal with the design of a powered roller conveyor with variable length. In the theoretical part of this work are listed possible drives for roller conveyors and examples of conveyors with variable length. At the beginning of the practical part, which is based on the theoretical part, I specify the requirements of the conveyor, with a preliminary proposal of its parameters, on which basis I create two possible solutions. Then I continue with design of the selected conveyor variant, which I chose via a multi-criteria evaluation. It includes selection and calculation of drive, roller design, mechanism that allows conveyor to be extended and curved, design of load-bearing frames, and strength calculations of selected elements.
