Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the structural design of the drive of the spiked conveyor, which is used to transport coal in a deep mine. In the first part, a research describing the drives of rake conveyors and the rake conveyors themselves is processed. In the second part of the thesis, the calculations of the nail conveyor according to the ON 44 5721 standard and the design of individual components for the drive are processed. In the third part, the structural design of the drive with and without a toothed clutch is carried out. The third part also contains a description of the individual parts of the drive station for both drive designs. Furthermore, in the third part, the strength calculation of the pen under the chain drum and the calculation of the tooth clutch is performed. In the last part of this thesis, an economic evaluation of both variants of drives, with and without a toothed clutch, is carried out. Both design solutions of drives are presented in the drawing documentation.
