Modelování proudění ve výměníku - náhrada žebrovaných trubek za trubky hladké

Abstract

Thesis is dealing with the exchange of finned pipes with standard pipes in a heat exchanger. At the same time the new heat exchanger with standard pipes have to be of the same heat output as the original heat exchanger with finned pipes.

Following the mesh generation of the created geometries in Gambit I performed numerical calculations in Fluent. After the comparing of calculated values of heat output and taking into account others aspects I choosed final number of standard pipes.
