Abstract
This master’s thesis is dealing with the effect of wear on the cutting power of inserts for turning Inconel 625. In the theoretical part are mentioned basic concepts that are related to the issue - the machinability to the structure of Ni superslistin. Total were tested two types of inserts of cutting ceramics and cubic boron nitride. Testing was performed at longitudinal turning on a CNC lathe DMG Mori Seiki NLX 2500/700, which changed cutting conditions. In the experimental part are shown measurement results of the resulting wear, roughness parameters and cuttability tool. Based on these data is evaluated inserts and is intended more suitable insert for machining nickel alloys Inconel 625.
