Hydrodynamické účinky proudění na disk klapky při jejím zavírání

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the hydrodynamic effects of the flow acting on the flap disc during closing. In the first part, a research of dampers in terms of design and their function is made. Then the mathematical model and the choice of flap positions for subsequent modelling are defined. In the second part, four geometries are developed for the selected flap positions. In each position the control damper is rotated at a different angle. The geometry created is based on the geometry provided by Vexve. A computational mesh is made for all the selected positions, boundary conditions are set and numerical modelling is performed. Finally, the forces and moments acting on the control damper at the selected positions for both single and multiphase flow are evaluated. The values of forces and moments will be converted to coefficients and compared with those determined by Vexve.
