Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the production of internal threads by forming as a replacement for the existing technology of thread production by forming in the CNC Trčka s. r. o. company. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to familiarization with the technology of internal threads forming, description of tools, suitable materials for forming, production requirements and their advantages and disadvantages. The second chapter describes the design of a new technology for the threads production by forming, the implementation of the experiment, the material to be machined, the choice of tools, machining tools and the process medium. The third chapter contains a comparison of achieved quality of the threads made by cutting and forming. The comparison was performed with optical microscope and metallographic tests. The fourth chapter dealt with technological improvements in technology, reduction of machining time and financial savings. The findings of experimental work and evaluation of the obtained results of both technologies are at the end of the work.
