Abstract

This thesis is dedicated to problems in initial phases of mobile robot chassis design. Simulations of differentially driven chassis by simulation software Adams and ProEngineer were compared by numerical calculation programmed in computing software Mathcad. Results of chassis driving simulations were compared for simulations of straight drive, uphill drive and turning on the spot. From the results were found out that simulation results found out by Adams and Mathcad are the same. Results found out by software ProEngineer were different. Results of this thesis are calculations of n-wheeled differentially driven chassis programmed in software Mathcad. It is a calculation that can significantly accelerate drive design for conceptual design of the chassis.
