Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on pricing in a protective equipment company. The aim of the work is to analyze the underlying factors in company that influence pricing. From the observed data, then set the recommended price for the selected product and develop proposals for the company's pricing policy area. The thesis describes basis concepts, factors influencing pricing, the objectives and strategies of pricing policy, and the methods used to set the price. In the practical part, a cost analysis is carried out on the basis of which the cost calculation is implemented. Furthermore, the price is compared to the competition and a price sensitivity test is used to determine the value perceived by customers. The practical part results in an assessment of factors influencing the price of the product and recommendations for the company in the field of pricing policy.
