Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with a sensory analysis of new vegetable product called „Kokosová tapioka s medem“. The aim of the thesis is to determine, how consumers perceive the sensory quality of „Kokosová tapioka s medem“ in comparison with chosen competitive desserts. The theoretical part describes the sensory analysis, product testing, market and company characteristics. The practical part covers realisation of marketing research by the focus group method, which included sensory evaluation of desserts. The final outcome of the thesis is to compare the sensory characteristics of chosen desserts and to make proposals and recommendations for the company „Kalma k.s.“.
