Abstract

This diploma thesis describes in a short theoretical introduction the basic properties, classification and methods control of stepper motors. Then the used components of the actuator, their important properties and parameters are described. Subsequently, an analysis of the possibility of controlling the actuator using the Ezi-Motion interface is performed. The goal of the work is the resulting design and implementation of a stand with a servo drive for precise adjustment of the target position of each letter in the alphabet. The functionality of the whole system is verified by measurements on this station. As a result, a sample laboratory task is created to introduce students to the linear actuator.
