Abstract

The treatise on the efficiency of steam boiler for various power levels and fuel mixtures is the content of this work. The work relates to the boiler K4 of heating plant Přívoz. The efficiency is taken as one of the most important factors to assessing the technical level of this equipment. Effort is to build a power generating equipment with the highest efficiency as possible. By increasing the efficiency of power generating equipments is achieved higher utilization of primary energy on transform into another form of energy. Development of new materials for achievement higher operating parameters proceeds at present. It will increase efficiency and save primary energy resources for the next generations.
