Abstract
This bachelor's thesis explores the possibilities of utilizing a voice assistant in the cockpit of a commercial aircraft. The theoretical part of the thesis first describes the current audio signals used in the cockpit, as well as cockpit ergonomics and the human factors that influence pilots' decision-making. Subsequently, the work of pilots during selected procedures is detailed. For these specific situations, the potential application of a voice assistant is described as a tool to assist pilots in resolving them. To better understand how pilots perceive the introduction of voice assistants, a questionnaire survey was conducted. The following chapter deals with the conceptual design of the device and the possibilities of its implementation into the aircraft cockpit. In conclusion, the applicability of this solution is evaluated from both a technical perspective and the perspective of pilot acceptance.
