Abstract
Bachelor thesis is dealing with design of self-locking pliers. In the introduction are divided binding and gripping tools in terms of structural design and control. Furthermore, this thesis describes various gripping tools. As another point in this Bachelor thesis is described whole design of self-locking pliers, calculation of forces acting on the pliers arms and pliers pins. The proposal is submitted to kinematic analysis of minimum building height of the pliers which is affected by the distance change between the pins and by changing the angle α. Based on comparison of both analyzes, reducing of the distance between the pins and reducing of the angle α has positive affect on the minimum building height of the pliers.
