Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the design of cogeneration unit with a piston combustion engine which has to be implemented to the existing boiler house with classical gas boilers. The district boiler house is provided with three conventional gas boilers with a total installed thermal power 3150 kW, supplying heating water and hot water through heat networks of small neighboring housing estate. The heat source is a power oversized, because all with the heat supplied objects passed through revitalization. Due to the revitalization it was also a decrease in the projected of the temperature gradient. At present it is sufficient for heating buildings the heating water with temperature gradient of 90/70 ° C. Requirement of the investor's the heat company is to design an optimal thermal power of cogeneration units with piston combustion engine, which will be complement the existing boilers an appropriate way.
