Abstract

This bachelor thesis explores the possibilities and limitations of using 3D printing technologies in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic mechanisms. The theoretical part summarizes the current state of knowledge in additive manufacturing, focusing on metal powder bed fusion and polymers, which are crucial for the production of pressure components. The thesis provides a detailed analysis of the advantages of topological optimization and the integration of internal channels enabled by 3D printing in hydraulic manifolds and valves. The practical part examines specific applications such as the production of fluidic muscles, soft pneumatic actuators, where their functionality and durability were tested. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the benefits of additive technologies for increasing production efficiency and reducing the weight of components in modern fluid power systems.
