Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on a system of employee recruitment and selection in organization Podhoran Lukov, a.s. Firstly, I described and classified this process on a theoretical level based on study of specialized literature. The applicative part aims at description of the specific recruiting features of the company and analysis of its activities concerning the system of employee recruitment and selection. In this thesis I applied methods of induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis and last but not least I carried out a survey among employees of Podhoran Lukov, a.s. in order to gain understanding of their perception of and their attitude to currently ongoing recruiting process. Following the survey results I concluded employees assess the recruiting process rather positively. As rationale of consequent analysis of the survey results I was able to identify potential improvements and create recommendations, which could be implemented in order to make the recruiting process more efficient, e.g., appointment of a recruiting manager, recruiting costs increase, recruiting resources diversification, recruiting rules unification, personal survey editing and others. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the system of selection and recruitment of employee in the organization Podhoran Lukov a.s., and to assess strengths and weaknesses of the recruiting process as a whole. I made an effort to identify improvement potential (based on employee survey) and thus create comprehensible and feasible recommendations that will be handed over to competent persons in the company.
