Abstract
The dissertation addresses the design of a prediction model of a Dish Stirling type solar concentrating power plant. The work deals with the evaluation of operational parameters on an experimental unit which then leads to real energy gains. The model design consists of the description and definition of any loss factors affecting experimental unit operation. To design a relevant model, necessary measuring points are specified and defined and experimental measurements in problematic nodes of energy flows are carried out. The resulting verified model is consequently applied to meteorological data received from Meteonorm application which has processed and interpreted meteorological data for more than twenty-five years and which can define, with relatively high accuracy, climatic conditions of the desired location of a potential real unit. The resulting model is subsequently used to predict relevant energy gains in launching of a commercial unit.
