Evaluation of Ride Comfort

Abstract

Ride comfort is an important factor which focus on comfort of the driver and passengers. Measuring the comfort of the passenger depends on vibration and noise produced by various parts of the vehicle such as engine, tire contact with road pavement etc. The vibration produced by the road surface is measured using accelerometer sensor inside the smart phone and measured data is stored and processed to understand the comfort factor using Ride Comfort android application.
