Abstract

The thesis deals with the production of a component using WAAM technology designed especially for outdoor environments and its subsequent corrosion protection. The theoretical part describes the WAAM technology itself, the basics of corrosion attack and corrosion protection. In the practical part, several variants of input materials and subsequently suitable surface protection were proposed. The applied coatings were subjected to tear and grid tests. As part of corrosion resistance testing, the samples were tested in salt spray. Corrosion attack of the test samples was evaluated visually and metallographically. This work focuses on the verification of the corrosion resistance of the individual materials and the adhesion of coatings to the components produced by the WAAM method.
