Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the composition influence of the protective atmosphere on the properties of the weld joint during fusion welding (135). The aim to valorised the changes in the mechanical and metallographic properties in use of protective atmospheres Linde-corgon 18 (82% Ar and 18% CO2) and Linde-corgon 8 (92% Ar and 8% O2). The theoretical part describes the technology itself, that is gas metal arc welding as well as is explained the effect of welding parameters and the structure of shielding gas with regard to changes in the properties of the weld joint. In the experimental part of the thesis is suggestion for a methods of testing welding joints, respectively it describes the progress and results of tests that led to the assessment of the differential properties of welded joints. The most important part of the thesis is to evaluate all tests, it means all the differences that appeared during welding in a different composition in the protective atmosphere.
