Abstract
This thesis deals with the design and draft of a special machining jig for company BRANO a.s. Ordering authority made a request for production of controlling unit with the drawing number 6504460101. It is the product made of material 42CrMo4 + QT that weighs 3 kg. As required by department SBU TOOLS, all machining operations shall be performed in a single setup fixing. That is one of the main aspects affecting the design of the jig. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns a basic overview of the jig. The practical part deals with a design of a machining jig.
