This master thesis deals with the construction of amphibious exploration robot. The introduction is devoted to analysis of the current amphibious robots, thanks to which there was subsequently compiled request list, which is reflected by the proposed alternative solutions with different chassis design. In the main part is attention paid to a detailed design of the selected variant. Designed amphibious robot has a special tracked chassis providing the possibility to operate in reverse mode. After the water surface is the forward force produced by rotation of the belts. The robot is equipped with a positionable arm with a camera and sensoric subsystem, for monitoring of underwater environment there is second camera equipped with strong flashlights underneath of the robot body.
