Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the general analysis of stud welding technology - theoretical part provides the most common variants which are used for welding of the studs including destructive and non-destructive tests of the welded joints. The capacitor discharge stud welding is then described especially. The specific experiment is analyzed in the next part of this thesis - it contains real information describing the studs - spikes and thermocouples, base metals and welding machines used for the experiment including the measured parameters. Main content of the practical part is to plan and realize verification of selected characteristics of the welds. It means to undergo the welds to metallographic tests and micro hardness tests. Results of the experiment will be compared with literary sources in the conclusion.
