Abstract
This Bachelor thesis deals with comparison of profile and areal parameters of surface material created by turning technology. The introduction describes the development of measurement and evaluation surface structure. In another part of the thesis is described the use of turning technology, measurement methods of surface parameters (contact and non-contact methods), machines for measuring surface (their advantages and disadvantages) and subsequently parameters of the profile and surface roughness. In the experimental part is the analysis of the measured data and subsequently evaluation of the samples in the program SPIP which were measured by an optical profilometer MicroProf FRT.
